Chinese Paladin Synopsis Review Story:

Based on a popular RPG of the same name. The story takes place in a fantasy medieval China that’s full of kung fu action, CG special effects, and wacky humor.

Li Xiao Yao, a “Stinky Punk”, journeys to Dream Island to find a cure for his sick aunt. There he meets and marries the love of his life, Ling’er. On his way back home with the cure, he discovers that he’s been tricked by the Lunar Sect Cult so that they can kidnap Ling’er.

He awakens in his bed, having forgotten his entire trip to Dream Island, but having saved his aunt. He rescues Ling’er from the Lunar Sect Cult and is in turn rescued by a mysterious stranger who teaches him kung fu. Xiao Yao and Ling’er travel to the capital to meet her father.

Along the way, they meet various people, get harassed by the Lunar Sect Cult, discover both of their histories, save the world and fall in love with each other all over again. It starts off sweet and lighthearted but ends with plenty of tears.

Skip Beat / Extravagant Challenge or 華麗的挑戰 (Hua Li De Tiao Zhan) is a new Jerry Yan and Ariel Lin series, considered as a live action TW drama based on Japan Manga Skip Beat.

Skip Beat / Extravagant Challenge Taiwanese Series Synopsis and story review :

The story will revolved around a girl, Kyoko Mogami who truly loves her childhood friend, Shotaro who unfortunately just took advantage of that love to further his ambition of being a star. He even convinced her to quit her studies and help her achieve his goals. One day, Kyoko overheard Shotaro bragging to his manager that Kyoko is just a boring stupid girl whom he is planning to get rid very soon. She confronted Shotaro and she told him she’ll get even but he just laughed at her telling her that the only way she will be able to do that is if she’ll be a bigger star than him.

An interview of Jerry Yan and Ariel Lin was held before the Nov17 press conference of Japan-Taiwan collaboration drama “Extravagant Challege”.

Ariel Lin
First of all, like many other actresses, her face is extremely small. Ariel’s face is also a “palm-sized” face. She has shiny skin like a freshly peeled egg.
She was wearing an off-shoulder knit shirt (sorry…don’t know how to put it in English><), and her décolleté line from the shoulder to collarbone was very beautiful.
No wonder she is the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards Best Leading Actress! In real life, she is so pretty that you can’t stop sighing (her comments are very mature too!), and her glow is powerful even next to the beautiful Jerry.

Ever since he first entered the room, he has a wide smile and is very relaxed.
I felt his cheeks were maybe just a little more plump than before.
Perhaps it was the hairstyle, but his dimples were very clear today.
Which probably means he was all smiles nonstop.

Jerry is attentive all the while.
He leads Ariel to her chair, and escorts her kindly.
When he noticed Ms.Zhou (translator) ’s microphone was missing, he passes his own to her.

How the two were like together
They were so relaxed with each other, it almost seemed like it wasn’t their first time acting together. Even during the interview, sometimes they looked at each other, smiling. Jerry would talk to Ariel while translation was being done. Jerry’s debut was 1 year earlier than Ariel, but their conversations were that of two professional fellow actors, and they were enjoying their conversation.

Just looking at them today, we can see there’s a lot to expect from the new drama!

Xiao Yu Er yu Hua Wu Que (小魚兒與花無缺) actually is a remake of another series with diffrent titles. This variations of this series such as The Twins, Handsome Siblings, Legendary Siblings, The Twin Heroes, or Amazing Twins, Proud Twins, The Handsome Siblings, The Perfect Twins, The Invincible Duo, The Impecable Twins, or other similar meanings.

This newest version is titled Xiao Yu Er Yu Hua Wu Que, starring Dicky Cheung as Jiang Xiao Yu, and Nicholas Tse as Hua Wu Que. Fan Bing Bing will cast as Tie Xin Lan. The story still focus in the twins among Xiao Yu Er and Hua Wu Que, but grew up in different place, and must kill one another because of Yiu Yuet (邀月宮主).

Not like other version, this series will end up in a sad ending.
